Halley Radebaugh

Head Choir Director

Ms. Rad has been the choir director at Renner Middle School since 2017. Before that, she spent 4 years as the Associate Choir Director at Arbor Creek Middle School in Lewisville ISD.

While at Arbor Creek, Ms. Rad had the opportunity to co-direct the varsity women's choir at the 2017 Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio, Texas.

A native of Plano, Ms. Rad attended Frankford Middle School, Shepton High School, and graduated from Plano West Senior High. It is a huge honor to now work with the educators she grew up learning from.

Under Ms. Rad's direction, the Renner A Cappella Treble Choir received an invitation to perform at the 2022 TMEA Convention - the first ensemble from Renner to be invited to do so.

Ms. Radebaugh graduated from Texas Christian University (go frogs!), is a member of TMEA, TCDA, and is a Google Certified Educator Level 1.

Becky Kozinski

Associate Choir Director

Ms. Kozinski - or Ms. K as you might hear your students refer to her as - has been teaching in Plano ISD for five years, and she is so excited to be back at Renner Middle School with Ms. Rad for a third year!

Ms. K graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2016, earning her Bachelor of Music with Teacher Certification. While attending Texas Tech, Ms. K was a member of the Texas Tech Women’s Chorale, an apprentice conductor of the University Singers, and Colorguard Captain of the Goin’ Band from Raiderland. Ms. K was one of only two female conductors to make it to the semi-final round of the ACDA-Southwest Undergraduate Conducting Competition, and represented Texas Tech at the March 2016 Convention.

During the summers, Ms. Kozinski is the Assistant Camp Director of the Texas Tech University All-State Choir Camp and loves the chance to work with choir kids from all around the state of Texas.

When she is not music-making with her students, Ms. K loves hiking in state or national parks, traveling to new places, and playing board games with her friends!
